203 Trees Planted!

Yesterday, with the help of local and international volunteers, we planted 203 trees at Al Numeira Environmental Association. It was a great show of support from our community. All it took was a few text messages to bring people out. We calculated 160 hours of labor, all told.

Local and international volunteers worked together to plant trees.

We plan to have an open-house once a month to work on various improvement projects around the site. Next month, we hope to incur 200 man hours, inshallah.

These small plants will grow into a shrubbery, lining the walkway between our main building and outdoor classroom.
