Sustainable Buildings | المباني الطبيعية

We restructured a traditional mudbrick house that was in ruin, using natural and recycled materials. Mudbrick buildings, typical of the area, are naturally warm in the winter. The space has been wired to have electricity and an internet connection, and we are looking for a way to use solar energy. One room is used as an office space for Al Numeira, and can also be used to host workshops and events.  The second room in the mud brick house is used as a guest room for volunteers and tourists.

In the future, we would also like to set up a natural goathair tent to be used as a meeting center and library.

يتكون مبنى الجمعية من الطين المخلوط بالقش كمثال واضح على المباني المستدامة ؛ويمتاز البناء الطيني بعدد من المميزات والخصائص المفيدة فهو مثلا دافيء شتاء–بدون استخدام وسائل التدفئة– ورطب صيفا. ويتكون المبنى من غرفتين تستخدم الأولى كمكتب للجمعية و يمكن استخدامه لاستضافة ورش العمل والفعاليات. أما الغرفة الثانية فتستخدم كحجرة لاستضافة المتطوعين والسياح.

وتجدر الإشارة هنا إلى أن فكرة الطاقة الشمسية لاقت رواجا واسعا لدى جمعيـــــــة النميرة مما يجعلها مشروعا مستقبليا نعول عليه الكثير.
